Alright, well this is probably going to be my last xanga post for a LOOONNNGG time. This summer I am going to be really busy.

I am going to pull a kind of "Sonny Rollins." There was a point in Sonny's career where he didn't feel what he was doing was good enough to be presented to the public. He stopped playing gigs and would practice most of the day and all night on a bridge.

So... I'm not going to play many gigs. This summer is going to be spent shedding all day, every day. I'm going to teach a few places this summer, too. And then I'm still teaching my lessons because yeah.. i need the money. haha. But i think all the shedding will lead up to the Stanford Jazz Residency so i go in good shape. Then when I get back I will probably continue the under ground practiceing. And then I'll make my come back I'm not going to say what it going to be - partly because I dont even know. haha.

This representative from a music company emailed me. Says he is interested in putting a track of mine onto a compilation cd. I told him I'm interested, but would like more details before I actually agree to it. Don't exactly wanna get screwed here, you know.
